This game is very fun and addicting! However, it totally cheats!!!

Have never written an app review before. Have to warn you. I have played competition gin for years. Bought the app to hone my skills. What a joke. Biggest cheat and rip-off ever!!!! If there was a way to rate negative stars I would. Truly hope this prevents you from purchasing this app. Developers should be ashamed of themselves.

The developers should have done a better job. When playing Grandma Gin, she draws one card and goes out -- this happens at least once in every game, sometimes it happens two hands in a row in the same game! No one likes a one-sided game. This app is coming off my devices, just like the other gin rummy that bit the dust due to poor programming! Please announce when you get it right and Ill install again...

And it’s not just Grandma Gin. It’s quite obvious that Gin Ninja and Gin Computer certainly do as well. It appears their “talent” for winning really comes from manipulating the cards in their favor. Too bad! For me, the program has a lot going for it and I would have easily given it 5 stars if it didn’t stack the deck. Rummy Knight usually seems to play fair, but the higher levels don’t, and constantly losing to a cheat is no fun.

This game is fun but, it totally cheats. The only level that plays kinda fair is card scout. All the others will go out without even drawing a card. FIX THIS APP!!!

The levels get harder as you progress and the "cheating" that other reviews mention is just luck which cuts both ways. Ive achieved Gold wins at all levels and of course Grandma Gin was the hardest but you can still do it. Its a fun game that would be boring if it were too easy but it gets a little more challenging at each level. Enjoy!

I think its a good game. I dont think it "cheats", but is difficult to beat.

You cannot tell me that this game isnt programmed to mess with your mind when you play the "Granny Gin" (highest) level. You draw a card that completes a set, but to keep it, you have to discard and break up one of two other partial sets in your hand. Whichever card you choose to discard--whichever set you break up--I GUARANTEE that, on the next turn or two, you will get the precise card that WOULD HAVE completed the set you broke up, if you hadnt thrown that last card away. It just happens WAY too often to be random. UPDATED TO ADD--Now that Ive downloaded another gin rummy game (Gin Rummy Multipack by PressOK Entertainment), I am even more certain that this one is rigged--not just so Granny Gin wins FAR more often than she should, but also to torment you with the precise card you needed until your very last turn. Ive played this other game for a few days, and even playing the highest-level opponent there, I actually win occasionally--not all the time, or even half, but enough for it to be enjoyable. Its a big change from a game that mostly made me want to throw my iPhone at the wall. So if youre looking for a load of frustration, this game is just the thing--but otherwise, keep looking!

The computer players always seem to knock, rarely play to gin , I find it frustrating

I hate this game. The opponent miraculously gets dealt a matching hand almost every deal. Wish I hadnt bought it.

This game is horrible. The computer will pick a card from the deck and then go out. It irritates more than its fun.
